We should have seen this coming. We’ve been through this before…years ago when we released the Autolinx. But now, with Tufflinx hitting the market like gangbusters, it has resurfaced as one of the most often asked questions we receive: “Doesn’t the Tufflinx cover up the license tag?” The answer is: “Pretty much, yes.”
But consider the following:
- Out of hundreds of Autolinx cases sold over the years, we know of no reported citations issued for this infraction.
- Just as SUVs don’t hang bicycles year-round, our cases are temporary attachments.
- There are a myriad of hitch products on the market today that obscure the tag.
- If you’re hyper-concerned, you may photo-copy your tag and place it into an adhesive-backed shipping label…and attach it directly onto your case.
